We oppose NYC's warehousing of the homeless at the maspeth Holiday Inn Express
Via communication with the owners of Mendon Plaza, our attorneys, Klein Slowik, LLC, have successfully halted the city's plans to convert the Maspeth Holiday Inn Express into a permanent shelter for more than 200 people. However, the City is currently renting rooms at the hotel to house ~70 homeless men per the NYPD. Mendon has sued the owner of the hotel in an effort to stop this practice while our attorneys work on other strategies to accomplish this goal. The latest update is here.
